Our Specialist-led teams are on hand, round the clock, to provide exceptional care for emergency patients, with all urgent referrals being reviewed and accepted immediately.
Always Available, Always Accessible
During the day, for most patients, our dedicated client care team can arrange an urgent referral on your first call. Same-day emergencies are accepted through our team of Specialists, who may request a brief discussion with you to ensure a smooth transition and excellence in the care of your patient. Pre-referral stabilisation and treatment plans can also be discussed with a member of our team if required.
Following an urgent or emergency referral to Cave, we will carry out an initial consultation and develop a bespoke care plan for the patient in collaboration with their owner. If diagnostic tests, medical treatment or emergency surgery is required, we will admit the patient to the appropriate ward in our state-of-the-art hospital and continue to liaise closely with the owner as the patient progresses with investigation and treatment.
