Jess McGrorty

Diagnostics Lead

Jess trained and qualified at a Tier 3 busy mixed practice in Windsor where she worked for 6 years. In 2009 she moved to Surrey to pursue a career in referral nursing at Fitzpatrick Referrals where she gained experience and knowledge in surgical nursing and anaesthesia. In 2012 Jess spent 12 months travelling around Thailand, Australia and New Zealand and locumed at various practices along the way.  On her return she started at Highcroft Referrals in Bristol where she rotated through both the surgery and medicine departments. In 2017 she then relocated to Somerset to live with her partner and joined the team at Cave Veterinary Specialists and after rotating through all disciplines Jess became our Senior Medicine Nurse in May 2018. Jess is involved with various medicine referrals and runs our Chemotherapy clinics.

In her spare time, Jess loves walking her cheeky border terrier Denzil, cycling, camping and renovating her house!
