Maria graduated from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2017, wanting to pursue a veterinary career in surgery. She worked for two years in a small animal veterinary practice, before being offered a rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust. Maria's interests out of work are horse riding, reading, socialising and going to the movies. Maria has three rescue dogs that live in Spain along with her horse.
