After graduating from Cambridge University in 2013, David worked in small animal general practice in Devon for four years. He then undertook a rotating internship at the University of Bristol, before a four-year residency program in Small Animal Surgery at Dick White Referrals in East Anglia. Following the completion of his specialist training, David joined Cave Veterinary Specialists in August 2022.

David has interests in many areas of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, particularly fracture fixation, thoracic surgery, and angular limb deformity correction.
