Anna Nutt

Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. RCVS-recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery.

Anna graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2009. Following a 4 year period in mixed practice and then small animal emergency care, she completed an internship at the University of Glasgow and gained a certificate in surgery through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons. She then completed a Residency in small animal surgery at the University of Bristol and became a European specialist in small animal surgery in 2020. Since joining Cave Veterinary Specialists in 2019 Anna has taken a key role in the expansion of the orthopaedic service, and her interests include corrective surgery for angular limb deformities and trauma management.

Outside of work Anna enjoys playing the French horn and piano, walking, and spending time with her husband, three sons, and menagerie of animals!
