Jorge qualified from the University of Leon, Spain, in 2013. Before undertaking his residency in small animal internal medicine at Langford Vets, University of Bristol, he combined general practice in Spain and the UK, with two rotating internships, one at a private referral hospital in Surrey and another at the University of Cambridge.

Jorge holds post-graduate certificates in small animal internal medicine from the Universities of Barcelona and Luxembourg and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in early 2025.

Outside of work, Jorge combines his passion for photography with travelling.
