Kate Grinter

Receptionist

Kate joined the team in 2020, having worked in a variety of roles at animal rescue centres, newspapers, the RSPB and at a local vets. Kate has always loved adventure and art. She has a degree in Photography .

Kate has a huge passion and love for Africa. Whilst working at a newspaper she was lucky enough to be sent to Kenya, and so it all began. Since then she has been involved in a Big Cat research project in South Africa, as well as living and working in the Kruger National Park, creating educational material for visiting school children and painting a lifelike elephant mural in the Letaba Elephant Museum. Living in Africa, Kate made fantastic friends and it gave her some amazing memories, including helping to dart a leopard, herding Zebra to walking through the bush and swimming with an orphaned hippo. 

Kate is married and has a 5 year old daughter, a crazy collie and 2 rescue cats. Kate said that working here at Cave is a dream come true and the team are amazing.
