We’ve recently made a trio of senior appointments, which sees three familiar faces begin new roles.
Simon Bertram becomes Head of Neurology, while Adam Swallow will take on the role of Head of Medicine. In addition Bryony Gilder has been appointed as Head of Nursing Services, taking over from Helen Bye who has been promoted to a central nursing role within Linnaeus as Referral Nursing Director.
Hospital Director Claire Lawrence said: “We are delighted to announce these senior appointments.
“Simon, Adam and Bryony have all shared passionately their desire to support their teams and to develop each service, which will also help support our growth plans across 2023.
“Our congratulations also go to Helen who has been a central part of the team at Cave and who can now use her knowledge and experience within the central Linnaeus team.”
Simon is an EBVS and RCVS Specialist in Neurology, with a particular interest in spinal neurosurgery.
Adam is an EBVS Specialist in Internal Medicine and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Medicine. His main interests are gastroenterology, nephrology evidence-based veterinary medicine.
Bryony joined Cave as an RVN in 2012 and became part of the senior nursing team in 2017 where she gained experience and leadership skills. She is currently working towards a VTS in neurology and alongside her clinical role, she co-founded and runs Cave’s monthly Nurse CPD Club.
We would like to wish Simon, Adam and Bryony all the best in their new roles.
