We’re delighted to announce that Head of Surgery David Haine, has successfully passed the rigorous ECVS diploma exams to become an EBVS® European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery.
David, who oversees the soft tissue and orthopaedics care at Cave, said: “I’m thrilled to join this select group of professionals.
“The exams were challenging, but now having five surgical specialists here at Cave allows the team to further offer specialised surgical care and expand treatment options for animals in the South West.”
David graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2013, honing his skills in a small animal general practice for four years before pursuing a specialised surgical residency at DWR Veterinary Specialists in Cambridgeshire.
In 2022, David moved back to Devon and joined Cave.
Will McFadzean, Clinical Director, said: “This is a huge achievement and the culmination of many years of dedication and hard work.
“I look forward to working alongside David to bring his ideas for the surgery team to fruition.”
