This is the lovely Millie, who has just finished her course of chemotherapy here at Cave.
The seven-year-old crossbreed was very popular with the whole team here after her treatment for multi-centric lymphoma.
Millie presented to us on February 9 for further assessment of her recently diagnosed condition, which came to light in investigations into right hind limb lameness caused by a rupture of her cruciate ligament.
During examination, her lymph nodes were found to be markedly enlarged and tests revealed the cancer diagnosis.
The main treatment option available to Millie was chemotherapy and following this, her owners have reported she has been clinically well and her lymph nodes were no longer enlarged.
Millie is already a social media star and so is her brother, Wilf. Looking at the pictures of the pair, it’s not hard to see why!
We were delighted to be able to help Millie and she is now enjoying life back home with her owners.
