Sara Cermeno Fernandez

Sara graduated from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2014. After graduating, Sara completed a one-year rotating internship in a referral hospital in Barcelona, developing a special interest in Internal Medicine. Sara has worked in several small animal first opinion and emergency practices and has also completed several rotating and speciality externships. Having completed these, Sara moved to the UK to complete a rotating internship at  Southfields Veterinary Specialists. Sara joined the Cave Vet team as a Medicine Intern in September 2019 with the aim of pursuing a medicine specialization and started her residency with us in December 2020. She has a particular interest in endocrine diseases.

Out of work Sara enjoys all kind of sports, yoga, hiking and travelling.
